A reforestation commitment

Real trees.
Not certificates.
Funded by real solar.

A fixed quarter of the revenue of a solar-sizing platform is committed to planting trees — on real land, planted by reforestation organisations, with the coordinates of every tree published here. No tree is in the ground yet. This page is where you'll watch it start.

A commitment measured in coordinates, not promises.

For decades, "green" has meant carbon credits. Spreadsheets. Equivalents. We disagreed.

weplantoplant takes a fixed share of revenue from a software platform that sizes real solar systems — systems that produce real kilowatt-hours — and turns it into real trees, planted by reforestation organisations, on real European land, with coordinates anyone can check.

"We don't plant the equivalent of trees. We plant trees."

Revenue, not profit. Profit can be shaped; revenue can't. The share is fixed before a single tree is bought, and it doesn't depend on how the year went.

And we would rather show you an honest empty page than a number we can't prove. Every figure that ever appears here will be a tree with coordinates. No estimates. No equivalents. Coordinates.

From a kilowatt-hour to a sapling

How a solar project
becomes a forest.

A direct, traceable mechanism — no offsets, no certificates, no middlemen.

Step 01

Solar produces energy

Installers use a solar-sizing platform to design systems for homes and businesses. Those systems generate real clean energy for decades.

Step 02

A quarter goes to trees

A fixed 25% of the platform's revenue is committed to planting. Not 25% of profit — 25% of revenue.

Step 03

Organisations plant, in plots

The money buys and plants trees through reforestation organisations — native species, local soil, concentrated plots rather than one tree here and one there.

Step 04

You verify, anytime

Every planted tree gets its coordinates published here. You can go, stand next to it, and photograph it yourself.

Our planning assumption is roughly €3 per tree planted. It is an assumption, not a result — the real cost will be published with the first planting, tree by tree.

Where we are

At the beginning. Openly.

No tree is in the ground yet. We would rather say that than show you a map of forests that don't exist. Here is what has happened and what comes next — and this section changes only when something real does.

Done

The commitment

A fixed 25% of revenue is set aside for planting. Decided, written down, and now public.

Now

Funding the first batch

Revenue is accruing toward the first plot. We'll announce the planting when the trees are bought — not before.

Next

First planting

Done by a reforestation organisation, in the planting season, in a concentrated plot with native species.

Then

Coordinates published

The first tree appears on this page with its coordinates. From then on, this page is a record, not a promise.

No counter, no map, no partner logos until there is something real behind them.
Our rules

Trust, but verify.

These are the rules every planting will follow. They are written down before the first one, so they can't be bent to fit it.

01 · Coordinates

Per-tree coordinates, published.

Every tree we fund is recorded with its own lat / lon and published on this page. Not per hectare, not per plot — per tree.

02 · Who plants

Reforestation organisations, never us.

We fund; we don't plant. Partners will be named here only once an agreement is signed — not before, and not as a wish list.

03 · Access

If you can't walk to it, it isn't on this page.

Plots must be open to visit. You can drive to a coordinate, walk in, and photograph the trees yourself.

04 · Numbers

Nothing we can't show you.

No counters, no estimates, no CO₂ equivalents ahead of the trees. Any figure on this page corresponds to trees in the ground, with coordinates.
